Tricia Bernhardt
Tricia entered the business brokerage field in Sacramento in 1993,
selling all types of small businesses including restaurants. From the
perspective of several years’ experience, she saw the need for a
specialist to better serve the food and beverage industry, and therefore
created Restaurant eXchange in 2000. As Managing Broker of Restaurant
eXchange, Tricia coordinates the team of professionals to best serve our
clients. She advises sellers on pricing and valuation, including how to
maximize the marketability of their businesses. She also helps buyers to
realize their goal of business ownership by matching their skills and
resources with available businesses. A successful transaction involves
the Restaurant eXchange team assisting the parties through the complex
process of transferring ownership, which can include facilitating the
lease transfer, liquor license transfer, franchise approval, financing
and escrow process.
Prior to entering the business brokerage
profession, Tricia served as an Officer in the Air Force, with her last
position being Chief of Budget & Financial Analysis for Mather AFB. She
has several years of restaurant experience from her younger days. Tricia
is originally from Texas but has resided in Sacramento since 1989. She
enjoys tennis, music, dining, wine-tasting, friends and family, her
dogs, and traveling when time allows.
